Two Ships, One Cruise

Cunard are to offer guests the chance to experience one World Cruise but two ships. Both Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2 are to embark on a World Cruise between them.
The cruise will begin in Southampton on 2nd January 2009 where guests will board Queen Victoria. Guests will remain on Queen Victoria until 13th January 2009 where the will transfer onto Queen Mary 2 for the rest of the World Cruise before returning to Southampton on 8th April 2009.
Farewell and Maiden Voyages

The 2008 cruising season sees the farewell season of Queen Elizabeth 2 as she gets ready to embark on a new life in Dubai but it also sees the maiden season of Queen Victoria as she begins her life as a Cunard Queen.
In November 2008, after 40 years of service, she will leave the fleet and begin her new life as a floating hotel in Dubai.
The 2008 season has seen Queen Victoria embark on her maiden World Cruise, roundtrips from her homeport of Southampton and many Mediterranean cruises to top destinations.
